This is a good electric oven at an excellent price. It functions very well and is easy to use when installed with the controls at eye level. The oven has an efficient fan and a grill, and comes with two slide-in shelves and a slide-in grill tray with chromed wire grille. Installation is easy, requiring the installer to provide a Phillip's screwdriver and a flex, to connect the robust oven contacts to a 13amp fused spur. The temperature and function of the oven are controlled by two twist knobs on the front. The knobs are dark in colour, with a moulded slot in the top to indicate the direction that they are pointing in. There are two minor improvements that could be made in the design to make the oven better when installed below counter level: I painted the little slot in the control knobs, with white paint, to make it easier to see which direction it is pointing; the second improvement would be to make the function icons and the temperature indicator numbers larger, and to paint them further away from the control knobs, as they are difficult to read from above (the knobs obscure them, requiring the user to bend down to oven height to read them - a few user trials would confirm this). The trays slid stiffly when first used, but became smoother to slide after being moved in and out a couple of dozen times during installation. If you’re looking for a basic fan oven on a budget, I don’t think you can go wrong with this. The all black finish looks modern and could blend in well with more expensive black appliances without looking out of place. It’s simple controls are easy to use, but make sure you read the manual as one setting is just the fan and light with no heat, despite the temperature control dial showing a red LED that suggests it’s heating up when it’s not. The quality of the grill racks and drip tray is fairly low. The racks are very thin and appear to sag even when empty. The racks and drip tray don’t pull out of the runners easily and drag, twist and scrape the oven wall when you try. This is a cheap oven and this is where it shows. There is no clock, timer or display of any kind, just a little red LED to indicate that the temperature has yet to be reached. Actually performs well, heats up quickly and cooks evenly. Using the grill with the racks supplied is not easy. Power consumption is only 800w, which I feel is very reasonable. With such a low power consumption, I would have expected the oven to have been supplied with a standard 13amp plug and cable to make installation as easy as possible. This is not the case, the oven needs to be wired in with the correct cable and connection point, so the additional cost of an electrician will need to be considered. This may mean that you’d be better off looking at a more expensive oven with a plug and cable already fitted and it will cost less than this oven plus electrician charges. I wired this oven in myself as I am able to do so, but found the mains electrical terminals on the back of this oven to be very flimsy and too close together. If you plan to have a go at wiring this in yourself and don’t know exactly what you are doing, please leave this one to a professional. (The owners manual makes it very clear about getting a qualified electrician to install this oven too) To summarise, this cheap and cheerful oven is good value, looks good and performs its limited functions very well.Read full review

this does what it says on the tin as the saying goes ,after having 3 ovens bought on ebay from a budget company in 28months one lasting only 5 months .this oven was not only well priced but performs brilliantly we where able to cook a beef joint but also a turkey joint perfectly ,not a single burn which we where not able to do in the other ovens we had . but we also have a logik washing machine which is just 5 stars espcially the 15 min cycle
